Interpreting the Unwritten Word: Custom and its interpretation in international Investment Law

The Department of Economic Law at Universidad Externado de Colombia is pleased to extend an invitation to the academic community to join the "Interpreting the Unwritten Word: Custom and its Interpretation in International Investment Law" Conference. This event will be hosted by the American University Washington College of Law and will feature distinguished international academics from all over the world.

During the conference, José Manuel Álvarez-Zárate, the Director of the Department, will examine the impact of the Factory at Chorzow case on the evolution of international investment law, with a particular focus on damage compensation.
